I cheered Against #France for four years after #ThierryHenry ’s handball advanced them to the world cup in Africa,
so my disgust to #Robben will likely last much much longer, because I don’t even know who #France knocked out to get in…. This was not only in the #WorldCup, but against #Mexico.
I’m going to sound smart and use Newton’s third law of motion to lay to rest my opinion, and thankfully, the only one that matters ;)
Newton’s law implies,
“that for every action force, there is an equal and opposite reaction force”
Taken in to context of futbul, if you are running I have to kick you with enough force to make that leg move into the path of the other leg, that then makes you not only trip but fall to the ground.
Or, I have to step on your foot, or toe, not only long enough, but hard enough that it makes you unable to move that foot to make your next step.
Neither of these cases are true in the #Marquez vs #thecheatRobben.
Then you might try to argue that well, #Marquez did hit Robben’s foot so therefore it is a foul.
My reply to this, “really”
Every touch of the foot, hand on the shoulder or tug of the jersey is worthy of a catastrophic flailing of arms, spreading of legs dropping of jaw land on your chest fall to the ground,
Really?
Imagine how many people would be flailing around the 18yard box if we used this theory
What disgusts me more over #thecheatRobben vs #ThierryHenry
is that #thecheatRobben action was premeditated, Henry’s was in the game reaction.
You would never go into a football game thinking, if the ball comes to me I’m going to stop it with my hand.
You would, in #thecheatRobben case think, If I dive enough times, eventually the referee has to give me a penalty. And your proof is in his words Admitting to diving.
Henry reacted, Gah the ball, boom hand… I understand that
#thecheatRobben I’m going to dive dive and keep diving till I get the call, you literally can go in to a game with that mindset.
Don’t feel sorry for #Mexico fans, they will continue to love their sport
Feel sorry for Soccer, Football, Futbol, Futbul, or Sport in general if you admire and support this action.
Feel sorry to the half million or so people that are once again turned off of futbol because of actions like #thecheatRobben
